Help make a difference by delivering blood products where they're needed most. Volunteer Transportation Specialists deliver blood donations from collection locations to the processing center and out to hospitals where it can be used to save lives. As a Transportation Specialist, you are a vital part of saving millions of lives each year by simply driving blood products where they need to go in our region.
Requirements: Position requires a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to lift approximately 45 pounds.
Time Commitment: Route lengths and times vary, but average 5-6 hours roundtrip. Volunteers in this role transport blood from Great Falls to rural hospitals and other centers in Missoula and Helena. We ask for a willingness to commit to 2 or more shifts per month. As a volunteer, you will have the ability to sign up for the available days, times, and routes that work best for your needs.
