Week of Caring 2021

Calendar Happens On Oct 25, 2021
Time 9 a.m. to 1 p.m
Expired

Description

Would you please help United Way assist the elderly and disabled in our community with yard work as part of United Way’s Annual Day of Caring? Volunteers will be helping out around the community the week of October 25th!

Businesses, families, civic organizations, student groups, and friends are encouraged to form teams to help. Teams can be three people up to as many as you like! We encourage practicing appropriate social distancing and other measures for everyone to be safe. Volunteers are instructed not to enter homes even if requested.

Please consider volunteering and helping to recruit a team of coworkers, students, family members, and friends to help with the Week of Caring. You can select the day that works best for you, and United Way will coordinate with the individuals receiving the services. We can also provide rakes and leaf bags if you need them.

Don’t have a team but would like to volunteer individually? We will organize individual volunteers into teams on Friday, October 29th. Sign up, and we will contact you with more detail.

Please let Jessica (volunteer@uwccmt.org) know if you will have a team by Monday, October 18th, so we can provide you with your houses. Thanks for all you do for United Way and our community!
