Skyline Preschool is seeking volunteers to help at their upcoming parent-teacher meetings on October 11, 2016. The volunteers for this event will be running activity stations for children to rotate around to; while parents are having a team meeting (Academic Parent Teacher Teams) with teachers. Parents come to learn from teachers and engage with other families for the benefit of their child’s education. Be good with young children, possibly some with special needs, ages 3-5.
Volunteers should be good with young children, possibly some with special needs, ages 3-5. They need to be able to sit, stand and bend over for a couple of hours. Volunteers will be serving at the school on October 11th from 6:00-8:30p.m. There will be a general rundown of the activities before students arrive and supervision will be available to volunteers during the event.
The impact of the volunteers will be supporting community families with engaging in their students' education while providing a service to their students so they can give their full attention to their child’s education. Parents would have the time to truly benefit from their evening with teachers, being taught skills to support their students at home, while their children have a safe and engaging environment to play in while they wait for their parents.
