The Serving & Table Support Team ensures guests enjoy a seamless dining experience by preparing accompaniments, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and serving the freshly cooked crab boil. Volunteers in this role are welcome to enjoy the crab boil fixings during the event and will be provided adult beverages from the catered bar (outside alcohol is not permitted). Ideal volunteers are friendly, service-oriented individuals who enjoy hospitality and teamwork, can carry trays confidently, and are willing to assist with both serving and kitchen clean-up. Clear serving instructions, supplies, and guidance will be provided.
Key Duties:
· Prepare and distribute butter for crab service.
· Light tea candles on guest tables before dinner service.
· Serve crab boil to guest tables once cooking is complete.
· Keep tables replenished for the “all you can eat” portion of the meal.
· Empty trash bins from tables regularly during meal service.
· Assist with kitchen clean-up at the end of the event, including:
· Returning unused food to proper storage units.
· Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment used.
· Preliminary kitchen cleaning (sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces)
