Live Auction Spotters play an exciting and interactive role in ensuring the live auction runs smoothly. They help the auctioneer by keeping track of bidder activity, encouraging audience participation, and making sure no bid goes unnoticed. The ideal volunteers for this position are energetic, outgoing individuals with strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with groups. A good fit for volunteers who enjoy being in the action and helping keep the energy high. Spotters will be given instructions prior to the auction and work closely with the auctioneer and MC.
Key Duties:
- Identify and signal bids from attendees during the live auction.
- Communicate clearly with the auctioneer to ensure bids are recognized promptly.
- Engage with guests to encourage participation and maintain excitement in the room.
- Assist with clarifying bidder names and amounts when needed.
