This position ensures our guests have a smooth experience from the moment they arrive until the time they leave. Volunteers will greet attendees, provide important event information, handle payments, and enter guest information into our system. This role requires friendliness, accuracy, and the ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. The ideal volunteer is friendly, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy both engaging with people and working with systems. Volunteers should be comfortable multitasking, handling transactions, and entering data with accuracy. Volunteers will receive training on check-in, payment software, and data entry upon arrival before the doors open.
Key Duties:
- Greet attendees warmly and check them in quickly and efficiently.
- Share event details, including games, raffles, and the special drawing entry at their seat.
- Collect completed door prize entries from tables.
- Enter attendee demographics from the door prize cards into the event software system.
- Process payments at check-out and confirm all transactions are accurate.
- Assist with end-of-night wrap-up to ensure all entries and accounting are complete.
