Help honor and support military members, veterans, and their families by representing the American Red Cross at monthly meetings with local military and veteran support organizations. As a Service to the Armed Forces Event Support volunteer, your primary role will be attending these meetings to strengthen partnerships, share Red Cross resources, and collaborate on initiatives that benefit the military community. You'll also assist at local events such as Military Stand-downs, Yellow Ribbon programs, parades, and more. This is a meaningful opportunity to represent the Red Cross, foster connections, and make a direct impact on those who have served.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and assist at SAF events, parades, and community runs.
- Represent the American Red Cross at monthly meetings with local military and veteran support organizations.
Time Commitment: This role involves occasional in-person commitments at events and monthly meetings. Monthly meetings occur on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 1-3pm.
