Be of part of The Salvation Army-Havre Back-to-School shopping event and help families start off the new school year on the right foot. Volunteers are needed to help families keep track of their spending while the family participates in the Back -to-School shopping event. You will need to be able to use a calculator and keep track of prices of clothing. Kindness and encouragement are necessary.
Volunteers will be serving on Thursday, August 14 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Havre Walmart (3510 US-2, Havre). You will have supervision on site and receive training for your tasks before you begin.
By helping parents shop for school clothing for their kids, the children will be able to start school with new clothing which will help them feel accepted by their peers. This should help boost the children’s confidence.
