Take part in the most AWESOME brew fest in Montana! During the week of June 2nd - 8th we will need volunteers to help out at various locations stamping attendee's passports, setting up events and socializing with the guests. Most events will be held in the evening and will be a ton of fun!
Part of the proceeds will benefit Rural Dynamics, a local nonprofit that helps Montanans achieve financial security. Volunteers get into the event for free!
We need two volunteers per brewery for the pouring shifts, so about 82 volunteers. Each volunteer will work a 3-hour shift. The first shift is from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. and the second shift is from 6 p.m.- 9 p.m. We ask that volunteers show up to the volunteer check-in table 15 minutes before their shift to get their cup, wristband, etc. Volunteers do not get their cup and wristband until 15 minutes before their shift starts. If you are working a 2nd shift, you do not get the cup and wristband early. Volunteers are okay to sample beer while they are "working" as this is pretty low-key-- many of you have volunteered in the past at the Beer & Gear event and know the drill. This means 2nd shift workers still get to enjoy the beer!
You are encouraged to attend one of the volunteer orientations-- this is the only way you will be able to request a specific brewery to pour for at the brew fest.
- The first volunteer orientation is on Tuesday, May 28 at 5:30 p.m. at the Mighty Mo.
- The second volunteer orientation is on Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Black Eagle Brewing/Pit Stop. Volunteers are encouraged to attend either orientation.
We need about ten volunteers for tear down. The shift will be from 9- 11 p.m. Anyone that wants to help out with tear down will be welcome to assist. This should be much easier than previous years, as most of the brew fest will be inside the Mansfield Convention Center. We will need help with gathering and loading the PVC fence panels. These are super easy to deal with and very lightweight. The more folks we have helping, the easier this will be and the sooner we can all enjoy the last night of the Great Falls Craft Beer Week.
