American Association of University Women (AAUW) Great Falls

Mission: To advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

AAUW believes that together we can transform society for the better. The Great Falls, Montana Branch of the American Association of University Women was established in 1914. The Great Falls Branch has provided scholarships to local students since 1959.

As AAUW Great Falls branch, we focus on promoting equality for all, focusing on educational and economic fairness. We actively participate in negotiations for the legislation that promotes equity for women and girls in the community. Additionally, we provide an array of programs that cater to the interests and needs of our members while working steadfastly to foster a diverse and inclusive environment. Moreover, we offer educational funding and legal support to those who experience sex discrimination in the workplace and/or educational settings. Above all, we strive to create an environment where barriers don’t exist and opportunities are limitless for women.
