Who We Are

Mission: To improve and enhance healthcare services for people throughout northcentral Montana.

Benefis Peace Hospice of Montana was built with love. And your love keeps it going. The residential facility for terminally ill patients opened in 2002 thanks to an anonymous gift of $7.1 million. We strive to fill our patients’ days with comfort and dignity at a time when it matters most.

Peace Hospice serves anywhere the person calls home throughout Cascade, Teton, Pondera, Toole, and Chouteau Counties.  We also have an inpatient/residential hospice house in Great Falls that provides a homelike environment for patients who are experiencing a terminal illness in need of 24-hour care. The 20-bed facility is the largest residential hospice house in Montana. Peace Hospice features all-private rooms, equipped with the comforts of home.

What We Do

We offer medical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients and their families, ensuring they maintain dignity and quality of life alongside comfort. Hospice care is provided by a physician, nurse, social work counselor, chaplain, dietitian and home-health aides and specially trained volunteers. Others involved in care delivery include our medical director, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, pharmacist, medical equipment specialist, patient and family.
