Who We Are
STARBASE is the Department of Defense's (DoD) premier youth outreach program, with 82 locations throughout the US and its territories. Our goal is to motivate students to explore STEM opportunities as they continue their education, providing support along the way.
What We Do
Throughout the school year, every 5th grade class is bused to our classroom at the 120th Airlift Wing near the airport for 25 hours/5 days of hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities facilitated by our three instructors. We also provide afterschool programs for grades 7-8 at North and East Middle Schools and summer camps for grades 4-8.
