Who We Are
Mission: To alleviate hunger in the Great Falls community by collecting and distributing food to organizations that feed the needy, fostering public awareness, and supporting programs that promote self-sufficiency among the underserved populations.
The Great Falls Community Food Bank serves as the warehouse distribution center for emergency food providers in and around Cascade County. We are the weapon suppliers for the war on hunger providing food for those working on the front lines.
What We Do
We began as a small pantry in 1982 and evolved into a central emergency food warehouse in 1987. We became Montana’s only Re-Distribution Organization for the Montana Food Bank Network and Feeding America in 2004. In 2011 Food4Kids was created establishing school-based pantries and the BackPack Program feeding chronically hungry students. To engage, educate and lead our community in the fight against hunger.
