Who We Are
Mission: To provide therapeutic and recreational activities for children, adults and veterans with physical, developmental, behavioral and/or mental challenges, striving to improve the quality of life for them and their families.
Founded by William S. Macfadden (a.k.a. Ol’ Bill) in 1990, Eagle Mount Great Falls is a nonprofit organization serving Great Falls, MT, and surrounding communities. At Eagle Mount, we are dedicated to providing therapeutic and recreational activities for children and adults with physical, developmental, mental, and emotional challenges. We strive to instill hope and courage through our programs to help them discover and develop their potential in an encouraging environment. By endeavoring to normalize their activities, we help them defy their physical limitations, fostering their strength and confidence. Also, we offer support for the families of these brave individuals, creating a strong community spirit.
What We Do
We provide recreational programs for infants, youth, adults, veterans, and seniors with challenges, focusing on their abilities rather than disabilities. Participants grow socially, emotionally, and physically while parents connect and build a support network.
Our programs rely on dedicated volunteers and community support. Volunteers receive training, build friendships, stay active, and help participants overcome challenges. Local businesses and individuals contribute facilities, equipment, and donations, as Eagle Mount operates without government funding. With growing support from participants, volunteers, and donors, we continue to expand our impact on the community.
