Mission: To partner with each community to respectfully support and educate low-income individuals to achieve self-reliance.

With over 55 years of operational experience, we continue to strive to be a supportive agency and program to build responsive communities where low-income individuals have the power and opportunity to create positive and lasting change for themselves. Opportunities, Inc. is in North Central Montana serving low-income individuals and families in six counties: Cascade, Choteau, Glacier, Pondera, Teton and Toole. We provide education, energy assistance, emergency, employment and training, housing, and community services.

Head Start Prenatal to 5 Program:

One of our key programs is our Head Start program. Opportunities, Inc. Head Start Prenatal to 5 partners with each community, provides high-quality, early intensive, comprehensive, research-based education, childcare and school readiness and support to low-income children ages birth to 5 and their families.

Opportunities, Inc. Head Start Prenatal to 5 provides high-quality comprehensive services to children ages birth to 5 and prenatal women at NO COST to qualifying families.

Our Prenatal to 5 program has distinguishing characteristics that sets it apart from any other preschool and early child development program in the communities we serve. One of these characteristics being our comprehensive approach to child development services that engages parents in all aspects of our program. In our program, the parent is the child’s first teacher.
