Who We Are
Mission: To provide a world-class Club Experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Boys & Girls Clubs open their doors every day when kids need us most- the out of school hours. We provide a safe, fun, supportive environment with caring, adult mentors, that is full of opportunities to keep our members engaged.
Just so you know- 90% of Club Alumni graduated high school and 80% said the Club had a positive impact on their attitude towards fitness and health. Clubs are located in public schools, public housing, on Native American lands, in rural areas, and in inner cities so that everyone can access the Club. We keep our costs low and offer scholarship opportunities for many services to make sure membership is within the reach of every child.
What We Do
At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Central Coast, we provide children and teens with resources for success and a safe place to learn and grow outside school hours. We offer a variety of high-impact, award-winning programs designed to enable young people to reach their full potential as responsible, caring, and productive citizens. These programs range from Character & Leadership Development to Education & Career Development, Health & Life Skills, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, and more. We are committed to ensuring that every young person in our programs reaches their full potential, starting with an on-time high school graduation. Through our efforts, we reach over 9,000 kids and teens annually across seven communities in the central coast region.
