To encourage kids to stay active this summer, Get Fit Great Falls has launched Park Pals, a new program aimed at bringing kids out to five city parks. Park Pals runs every Monday through Friday, offering activities in science and art and physical exercise.
While most shifts are covered, volunteers are needed on July 18 th, from 9:30 AM to about 3:00PM each day to lead activities with the children. On the 18th, the two volunteers will lead the daily activities at each park, beginning the day at Gibson Park. They will help kids with a craft and then physical activity. Volunteers will have a half an hour lunch break. The activities are pre-planned, and volunteers only need to bring a smile and good attitude.
