United Way of Cascade County is partnering with the City Park & Recreation Department for the third annual Take Pride in Our Parks cleanup on Saturday, April 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Great Falls has 56 parks that can use a little sprucing up ahead of busy summer use. This year, we're focusing on parks that are in low-income neighborhoods and near schools. Our goal is to provide families a safe, clean place for healthy play.
Celebrate National Volunteer Month and Earth Day and adopt a park. Adopting a park takes as few as five people and is a great volunteer opportunity for people of all ages. We will provide a task list and supplies needed to paint playground equipment, spread woodchips, stain benches and trashbins and pick up garbage.
If you are interested in adopting any of the following parks, respond as a team to this request. Individuals and small groups are welcome to respond and we'll find the perfect park for you.
