Graduation Matters is a statewide Initiative driven to increase the rate of Montana students graduating from high school college- and career-ready. United Way of Cascade County became the local sponsor of the initiative five years ago and is preparing to celebrate those five years at the upcoming Convocation for the new school year in Great Falls.
Volunteers are needed on the morning of August 10th starting at 9:30 at the United Way office (417 Central Ave #402, Great Falls) to help create small paper caps to demonstrate the number of extra graduates over the last five years. United Way is looking for six to eight volunteers to help out until the project is done. Volunteers should be able to do handicrafts, but will be able to sit down while working. Coffee and snacks will be provided to volunteers.
