Volunteer: Join Family Promise at Our Day Center!The Day Center (also known as the HUB) Volunteer's primary responsibility is to be present and available to guests. The volunteer should be willing to offer advice, mentoring, job search assistance, and childcare assistance to the families visiting the Day Center. The volunteer is responsible for helping with snack and light meal preparation for families while they are working on their stability plan. The volunteer may assist families with their laundry, childcare, and other activities that the family chooses to complete while at the Day Center. Families share the responsibility for keeping the area clean however it is the volunteer's responsibility to ensure that the space stays clean, orderly, and inviting to everyone. Also, it is the volunteer's responsibility to ensure that that families abide Family Promise's rules for staying at the Day Center.

Volunteer: Be a Family Promise Shuttle VolunteerHelp Family Promise serve local homeless families as a shuttle driver! Volunteers will drive the Center's 9 passenger shuttle van in order to get families to appointments and school. You should have a good driving record and good skills as well as a desire to help families in need. Volunteer will serve out of the Family Promise Day Center Hub on a schedule between Mondays and Fridays that will be decided by you and the staff. You determine the length of commitment. Many families who are with Family Promise do not have transportation and volunteers will serve a vital task in helping them get around town.
