Join United Way of Hill County Day of Action Partnership with Havre Area Chamber to spruce up the Town Square on June 18th 2026!


Morning shift: 10am-12pm, 

Lunch 12pm-1pm 

Afternoon shift 1pm-3pm

Projects to include: Mulching around trees, cleaning out all rock/gravel from shrub beds around the park, replacing gravel in shrub beds, edging grass along sidewalk and trimming trees and shrubs. 


Morning shift will be for removing gravel/rock from shrub beds, preparing for new gravel. Edging of grass along sidewalk and trimming trees.


Afternoon shift will be for replacing gravel/rock in shrub beds, finish edging and tree trimming. 

Equipment to bring: gloves, shovels (flat edge or transfer shovels), wheelbarrows if available.

Great Falls Parks and Recreation will be at Gibson Park on May 27-28th to lay fresh sod in areas that need it. This is a big task and they are inviting members of the community who would like to come out and help keep the parks healthy and beautiful to help. Work will be done from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day and Parks and Recs staff will be present working and to provide direction. Volunteers do not need to commit to a full day.

There are several ways you can assist!

Get Fit Great Falls is conducting fitness tests in local elementary schools to encourage healthy activity and needs the community's help! Volunteers will work with groups of elementary students to complete one of eight fitness tests. The tests determine students' strength, balance, flexibility, and stamina. Volunteers should wear comfortable shoes and may have to demonstrate the activity. Anyone over the age of 13 is welcome to volunteer. Testing will be at Mountain View on May 26.
