Who We Are

Mission: To harness the power of volunteering in improving our community through continuous engagement of older adults and retirees in meaningful service opportunities.

RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) is part of the national SeniorCorps Progrma under the Corporation for National and Community Service. United Way of Cascade County is our local sponsor and we work with them on projects ranging from education to heath. We maintain a pool of over 400 volunteers who are 55 and up and connect them with meaningful local volunteering opportunties.

What We Do

RSVP recruits and places volunteers, age 55 and up, in area non-profits and proprietary healthcare organizations. By volunteering with us you will have an impact in many different organizations by helping them to keep a full roster of volunteers, be a part of numerous events and help keep a support system for older volunteers in place. All RSVP volunteers receive free accident medical insurance, personal liability insurance, and excess automobile liability insurance while they are volunteering.

We partner with local organizations to help recruit and match volunteers with the right project or position. We work on recruiting volunteers for a variety of programs as new needs emerge in the community and connect volunteers with different opportunities. Our goal is to make sure that anyone 55 years and older that would like to volunteer has the opportunity to do so and the support they need.
